About us

Hallett O’Neill was set up in 2005 by Lesley Hallett and Steve O’Neill, a partnership that brings combined expertise gained through over 50 years of change, engagement and communications work in the private, public and third sectors.

Whilst Lesley has a print and journalism background and Steve came from a video and media background, both have worked from Board level to shop floor in a wide variety of organisations and sectors including health, local government and IT. Drawing on the insight, creativity and practical know how they’ve both gained from their work place experience they use their complementary skills sets to produce the best and most successful business solutions for you.

Believing in the importance of supplementing practical experience with academic best practice, they both have Masters degrees in Communication and are qualified in business, change and project management.

Lesley and Steve work with a wide network of associates, partners and suppliers including designers, HR professionals, journalists, project managers, organisation and business development consultants and social media specialists, This means we can always put the right team together to create the right response for your communication or change challenge.
